X-PERT ‘Weight & Wellbeing’ Programme

Our health & wellbeing coaches are trained ‘X-PERT Health’ educators and are now delivering 12-week ‘Weight & Wellbeing’ group programmes for our patients. This is an interactive, evidence-based programme that is suitable for those who have long-term health conditions and would like to reduce their weight and improve their general wellbeing.

The programme is delivered over 12 weekly sessions, each lasting 90 minutes. All patients receive a handbook, which has been developed to reinforce the key learning points within the sessions.

Each of the 12 sessions covers a different topic, from carbohydrate awareness and eating frequency, to stress, sleep and physical activity. The aim of the programme is to educate patients and help them look at their lifestyle holistically, to enable them to make informed decisions regarding their health.
