Preventative Assistance is provided to underpin the principles of good early interventions to vulnerable persons to prevent injury or ill health. This is focused to reduce the need for hospital admission, additional medical interventions and services, and to reduce the burden on health and social care services through both direct and indirect savings.

The Centre caters for three separate groups of clients:
Elderly people who might be isolated, lonely or whose carers might need a break;
Adults with mild or moderate learning disabilities, and;
Those with mental health difficulties.
Anyone can refer someone with their consent to come to the centre, carer, family member, GP, health worker, neighbour or friend.
We help adults and children with long term mobility problems.
We assess people from across Buckinghamshire, and provide and maintain equipment for specialist seating, mobility and pressure care.
There are approximately 7,500 service users within Buckinghamshire. We see people in community settings including schools and rehabilitation units.
We work with a separate company to repair, store, collect, deliver, and refurbish our wheelchairs.

We hire mobility equipment to members of the public at very reasonable rates. This service is open to anyone, young or old, whether their disability is temporary or permanent. You do not need to be registered disabled or resident in the area.
