The Bagnell Project
Improving an individual’s health and wellbeing is the core purpose of what we are doing at the Bagnall. In addition to the range of different projects mentioned below, we also plan to offer specialised courses aimed at improving wellbeing, and targeting specific groups on certain days. To support these plans we will be starting to provide #MindfulnessMonday – offering Mindfulness taster sessions in the morning, structured Mindfulness sessions in the afternoon followed by a Yoga class in the Studio. On Tuesdays we offer #TransformationTuesdays a weekly Recovery Festival for anyone in recovery – be it recovery from mental health, recovery from substance misuse, recovery from loneliness and even recovery from Covid – pop in and see what happening, there is a lot to choose from. We have new projects starting in autumn 2022, many of which will be enhanced through the recruitment of our new volunteer manager and supported by new and existing volunteers.
